How it all started

While pursuing ​a life long dream of becoming a professional cyclist, OTR founder Stephen Fowler worked as head designer and factory manager of the clothing sponsor for the semi-pro team he rode for.

It was here that a passion for developing and manufacturing cycling clothing was ignited and

in January 2009, from his childhood bedroom, OTR was born.

With a focus on non-MOQ high end custom cycling clothing, fabrics and chamois were sourced from only the best Italy has to offer,  but all proudly put together in sunny South Africa.

Dye sublimation had entered a new era of digital print and the ability to provide custom cycling apparel to more than just corporates and large clubs was now a reality. With OTR, small teams, clubs and groups of friends were now able to gain their uniqueness and develop their own identity.
